A.R.E.S. is the first map
The A.R.E.S. station orbits VESTA, the candidate world at the centre of Rivage's premise. Miranda wakes there after the crew has disappeared, so the station is both a physical setting and the first source of the mystery.
Official materials point to logs, personal records, encrypted messages and research data as the evidence trail. Read the station in layers: infrastructure, personal traces, then the systems that no longer behave as expected.
