What the free demo is for
Rivage has a free Steam demo designed as an introduction to A.R.E.S. and its loop-based puzzle structure. The developer describes it as roughly one hour, although completion time varies with exploration.
Use the first run to learn
- Read the opening premise before rushing to a control.
- Note doors, inactive systems, and information sources.
- Test how a reset changes the station.
- Check what the K9 System preserves.
The demo is evidence for controls, presentation, and the opening structure. It is not evidence that every final-game system, room, or performance characteristic is complete.
Before downloading
Use the Steam demo page for the current build, supported language list, and hardware notes. Formal player-review figures can change and should be labelled as demo reviews rather than final-game reviews.
