Explore A.R.E.S. as a system
Official descriptions make exploration part of Rivage's core loop. A.R.E.S. should be read as a connected system of rooms, machinery, records, and changing access rather than as a corridor with one correct forward direction.
A three-pass survey
- Layout pass: exits, locked doors, landmarks, and return routes.
- Information pass: logs, labels, research material, and personal objects.
- System pass: power, moving parts, controls, and visible environmental forces.
On the next loop, revisit only places affected by new knowledge or a changed system state. K9's purpose is to reduce solved repetition, so an exploration plan should also move forward.
Version caution
Demo geography may not represent the complete game. Maps and room names should include the build in which they were observed.
