Read motion as a sequence
Mechanical devices are part of the interaction language shown in official Rivage material. Before trying a sequence, identify what each moving part can physically affect.
Device worksheet
- Input: lever, panel, pressure, power, or another system.
- Transmission: rail, arm, gear, cable, or magnetic link.
- Output: door, platform, contact, alignment, or signal.
- Constraint: obstruction, timing, orientation, or missing power.
Run a device once without trying to solve the room. Observe its full travel, reset position, sound, and any indicator change. That baseline makes later combinations with gravity or magnetism easier to explain.
The public sources do not provide model names or exact sequences for every device. Use neutral descriptions until the game supplies a label.
