Separate the repair from what it reveals
A system-repair puzzle has at least two outcomes: the mechanism works again, and the station enters a new informational state. Rivage's official descriptions support both repair and investigation as parts of play.
Repair sequence
- Capture the error state.
- Identify inputs, dependencies, and blocked outputs.
- Change one dependency at a time.
- Confirm the restored function.
- Recheck connected rooms, terminals, and logs.
The fifth step matters. Powering a terminal may reveal a message; restoring a mechanism may change access or create a new timed state.
Walkthrough rule
Do not publish an exact component order without a reproducible run. The official store description confirms the activity, not the solution to each repair puzzle.
